two left feet – low lights vlog

two left feet – low lights from Rosie Smedley (@abc_smedley)

A great night shining a spotlight on the stripped back and soulful sounds of two left feet performers – poets, DJ’s, live music. On Saturday 23rd May at Jam in a Jar on Green Lanes London from 8pm until 2am we came together for an anti fascist night of live music, poetry and DJs.

All profits will be donated to On the Ground International, an incredible grassroots organisation supporting Venezuelan refugees in Colombia. two left feet, one dance. One united front. We all danced at the lanes.

who speaks for crazy horse is a politically charged poetry collection by nicholas catlin that confronts the brutal legacies of colonialism, environmental devastation, and modern systemic oppression. Spanning world geographies and timelines, the collection journeys from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the working-class streets of East London.

Set to a cultural soundtrack ranging from the jazz of Miles Davis to the punk rebellion of The Clash, who speaks for crazy horse is an evocative, haunting reflection on a world fractured by profit, searching for harmony in the rubble of the modern age.
